イシトミドリは「庭屋一如（ていおくいちにょ）」の考え方を大切にしています。
庭屋一如とは「庭と建物は一つの如し」という意味で、
庭と建物が融合して自然と一体となる様子を表し、
自然と庭と建物の調和がとれた生活空間、環境と共生する思想を指します。
日本人の「人と自然が一緒でありたい」という心情から生まれた言葉で、
日本の住まいの考え方のひとつです。
古くから日本の住まいには庭園や坪庭があり、
庭を造り、暮らしの中に光や風、植物や置石を取り込むことで、
より快適で安らげる空間を創ることを目指していました。
イシトミドリは植物とかかわるすべての表現をもっと自由に、
自然との一体感を感じる手助けができたらと思います。
Ishitomidori values the concept of "Teioku Ichinyo",
which means "the garden and the building are one".
This idea shows how gardens, buildings, and nature can live together in harmony.
It comes from the Japanese wish for people and nature to stay close.
In traditional Japanese homes, gardens and Tsuboniwa (small courtyard gardens) have always been important.
By bringing light, wind, plants, and stones into daily life, people created calm and comfortable spaces.
